Privacy Policy

This page explains what BingeLingo stores to provide an independent language-learning subtitle add-on for Stremio. We do not sell personal information.

Information we use

Depending on how you use the service, we process your email and authentication identifiers, language and learner preferences, installation-token digests, subtitle-generation usage, quiz vocabulary and results, XP, streaks, level progress, and Stripe customer or subscription identifiers. Installation tokens are stored as one-way digests rather than readable tokens.

Temporary viewing data

AI-annotated subtitle cache entries are retained for up to seven days and Dual subtitle cache entries for up to 90 days. Viewing quizzes and artwork links are available for up to seven days; completion history and learning progress remain with your account so your streak and XP continue.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication and hosted account data, Stripe processes payments, the configured AI provider receives subtitle text needed to generate requested annotations, and subtitle/metadata providers supply source tracks and artwork. Each provider may process data under its own terms.

Cookies and security

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. We use access controls, hashed installation tokens, signed subtitle URLs, and server-side secrets to protect the service. No AI secret is sent to Stremio or your browser.

Your requests

You can contact support to ask about access, correction, export, or deletion of account data. We retain information only as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain learning history.
